Hi All.
I'd be most grateful to anyone that can tell me the minimum (or most
effective) thicknesses of a colored plane - for instance - that sits
within one of the transparent model processes.
Similarly I am interested in knowing the minimum diameter of a colored
cylinder in the same processes.
My understanding is that this can be accomplished via a "model in model"
geometry and that one would not want to mesh these various objects
together.
Is it best practice to supply separate files in this process or how does
this work exactly?
I'd also be interested in such practical issues as to whether getting a
file out as stl necessitate it being one geometry, or not?
I assume I am correct in thinking that the colored geometry can be both
within the transparent model and show at the edges as well.
Any other considerations?
