As of 10/4/99 Image3 announces the release of VelocityPro for
Windows NT. Now the power of Velocity2, which was only available on an
IRIX platform, is now available for Windows NT. VelocityPro is just as
powerful as Velocity2 but at only half the cost. Experience the new
interface. Velocity was easy to use before, wait until you see it now.
Special introductory price:
To kick things off, VelocityPro will be offered at a special price of
$3,995.00 US
Until January first, 2000 when it will increase to its retail price of
$4,995.00 US.
Reverse Engineering:
With VelocityPro you can reverse engineer parts with internal
features that other scanning methods just can't get. VelocityPro
imports data sets from CT, MRI, and X-ray scanners and allows you to use
filtering tools to reconstruct just the parts you want. Velocity will
export precise fault free stl files. With reduce and smoothing
operations you can decrease the file size of your STL file without losing
geometry. VelocityPro will also export IGES contours of your data set
for Comparison with a CAD model, or used to loft and skin NURBS surfaces.
Visualization and Imaging:
VelocityPro brings your reconstruction to life with its' advance
visualization tools. Render and animate your models with amazing
resolution. VelocityPro's visualizations support assemblies, multiple
colored light sources, and a texture library.
Quantify your Reconstruction:
Use clipping planes to view the internal structures of your
reconstruction. Obtain distances and volumes of your reconstruction with
VelocityPro's measuring tools.
