I am a graduate student and my research has to do with SLS. I have been able
to successfully build parts from several different materials reducing the
volume of powder required. I don't know if I had mentioned it previously on
rp-ml, but because I was researching new materials for the SLS and I had a
limited supply of powder I worked on this to allow me to build parts with
minimal powder in the feed cartridges.

Hello rp-ml - hope you are all well and Happy New Year of the Rooster
It is a long, long time since I sent a mail here. Mainly because rp-ml kept
sending back my messages. Hopefully, my resubscription has sorted this out.
Anyway, what I wanted to know was whether any of you have adapted their SLS
machine to handle small powder volumes. I recall someone mentioning they
had done this by reducing the powder bed size (using a mask), and
restricting the feed chambers. Unfortunately, I cant remember who it was
had done this. Can anyone get back to me on this?
