PID heat sensor on DTM's SLS 2000 machinesDear Rahbari

I think its at the back of the build cylinder in the centre. Try not to put
parts there as the extra temperature from the laser will cause the rest of
the part bed to cool causing no end of trouble!

Best Regards

I was wondering if anyone knows from what position on the part bed does
the infa red heat sensor on the SLS 2000 take its temperature readings from.
Is it the center of the bed? And if so, is there any way of midifying that
so that it takes its readings from closer to the front edge of the part bed
or another position? (ie. is there away of changing the angle of the infra
red sensor and still get accurate readings?
