I believe that you can vapour polish ABS FDM parts to seal them to some extent.

I don't believe any FDM part is water-tight. It would need some sort of seal coat.
That said, at least 3 layers thick (1.5 mm or .06" thick) with some sort of sealant be applied to the part.
