Welcome, David, to the rp-ml. How did you learn about it? Andre Dolenc, a Brazilian living in Finland, started this list a very long time ago.

I agree with most of the comments posted today, including Dave Pinkston's on the apparent effectiveness of the list. Right or wrong, I'm on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, but I continue to see value in the rp-ml. Let's keep it going.

How many are still subscribing? Dont know, one at least. Subscribed yesterday.
RP-ML seems to be a good tool to keep updated.

    Hello,

I could be old school but I just don't see mixing the RP-ML with the noise that is on Facebook.
It might be fun for a very short time to have posts like "I just made a fruit bowl" on a RP_ML facebook but I am not sure of the value.

Also I don't like people here having a reason to browse to Facebook on work time! For some people it can really be a time sink.
