I'm sorry to hear that you find all of this discussion on RP-ML to be
"highly uesless". That is surprising from someone working as an RP
technician. I hope you don't believe your career will be unaffected by
the the topics recently discussed on RP-ML. Your role as an RP Technician
and a Manufacturing expert could be dramatically altered as this industry
develops and matures.
Considering that the RP industry remains in its infancy and is far from
being mature, such discussions seem normal and highly informative to me.
I don't always agree with what I hear from other people, but it is
imperative that I maintain an awareness of how other people perceive this
industry. Beyond the basic technologies, people will determine the future
of RP. I would claim that the actions and perceptions of people is a
primary factor in determining the future of RP. The economic models that
will sustain this industry in the long term are entirely clear. As with
any industry, RP has many participants that must each find their place in
our economic world.
