CALL FOR PAPERS - RPD 2008 "Designing the Industry of the Future" - March 28th, 2008
We wish to invite you to participate in the fourth edition of the RPD event that will take place in October 29th and 30th, 2008 for the first time in the Portuguese northern city of Oliveira de Azeméis.
Following the positive results and success obtained in the previous editions, the RPD 2008 is quickly on the move to the presentation of another important edition.
RPD 2008 – “Designing the Industry of the Future” will continue to open discussion on innovations in Product Development, RP&T and Rapid Manufacturing, presenting the latest research, developments and products related to the most important areas of Rapid Product Development.
RPD 2008 Organising Committee invites you to contribute to this debate, submitting a paper on the following topics:
Product Development
Rapid Prototyping
Rapid Tooling
Rapid Manufacturing
CAD/CAE/Reverse Engineering
Design Engineering
Virtual Environments
Concurrent Engineering
Materials
Production Technologies
Innovation on Moulds
Plastics Processing
New Trends and Advanced Developments
Applications.
Abstracts must be written in English, should not have more than 200 words, and must contain a provisional title, an abstract of the overall paper, as well as the name, address, and email of the author(s) (according the attached abstract model structure).
Abstracts must be emailed to Centimfe - rpd@mouldsevent.com - until March 28th, 2008 (absolute deadline!). Submission guidelines can be found on Moulds Event website.
The abstracts will be forwarded to the Technical Committee for review and selection and until April 18th, 2008, RPD Organising Committee will notify the author(s) about the results of this process.

The final reviewed papers must be sent to Centimfe - rpd@mouldsevent.com until July 4th, 2008 (absolute deadline!).
