RE: [rp-ml] Stratasys to stop selling/servicing Objet Edens

My understanding is that there has been confusion amongst buyers and
distributors as to how Stratasys and Objet view each other. In the
US, Stratasys are saying that Eden is fantastic and complements the
FDM family. In other parts of the world, they are competitors. With
an ever shrinking global marketplace, I can see how this might screw
things up. In Asia 3 companies are aggressively targeting this
region; Stratasys, Objet and ZCorp. There are also a lot of companies
with parents, partners, and branches in the US. Stratasys held their
Asian user meeting in Korea a couple of weeks back where Scott Crump
and quite a few others high in the Stratasys management attended. I'm
not surprised at all.
