  Before we get all excited, remember that DTM Corp. was formed in the late 80s when BF Goodrich licensed patents from the Univ. of Texas. . . and DTM stood for Desktop Manufacturing. The goal even as early as '89 was, in theory, to have hundreds of machines in a manufacturing environment doing production without tooling. On demand manufacturing.
