We use to get 4,000 hours out of our HeCad lasers. I noticed when I put
the UPS on the machine the laser life increased. Guess the cleaner power
helped. I still had to do the remelts occasionally. My output power is
about the same as yours.

I've got two 250s running HeCad lasers also and I'm only getting 4,500
to 4,800. After all my laser tunes and occasional remelts, this is all I
get. They run most of their life between 26 and 30 mw.

I'm getting 5,000 to 8,000 hours with my HeCad lasers on my 250s. (Just
