It's unlikely you'll gain a single second build time by moving from
DOS to Windows. What matters a lot more are build parameters/strategies.
Regarding software, I'd look at the packages available and wether
they can prepare files compatible to the old buildstation software.
Once you found such a package and set up things correctly, the
difference for the preparation and build process should be neglible
other than to operate on two screens/computers.
Quite possible you're keen on a software running on a Windows based
SLA controller only, though ...
