You might like this article even though it is focused mainly on using the "right" collection of devices to make anything. Didn't we just used to call this "manufacturing", before it started becoming extinct in this country?
Maybe all this talk about alternative terms for RP will just take us back to the beginning again ... Manufacturing? Or how about Manu-Fabbing, or Manu-Fabricating?
