All positions will involve considerable travel both within the UK and

TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER - Ref: SL2019
 
Working within the sales team of this rapidly expanding company, you
will be expected to provide sales support to new and existing customers.
Our customers range from international blue chip corporations to
research institutions and universities. Some knowledge of computational
modelling techniques would be an advantage but is not essential.
 
Principle Roles:
- Expansion and retention of customer base
- Building of strong relationships with customers
- Actively seek new business opportunities
- Conduct sales evaluation studies
 
Key Requirements:
- Qualified to Masters degree level with 2-4 years commercial experience
or to PhD level.
- Highly articulate and customer-focussed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High enthusiasm and drive coupled with good interpersonal skills

COMPUTATIONAL MODELLING ENGINEER - Ref: SL0105
 
The ideal candidate will be experienced and confident with using Finite
Element (e.g. Abaqus, Ansys, I-DEAS, MSC.Nastran, etc.) or Computational
Fluid Dynamics codes (e.g. Fluent). You will also posses a good
knowledge of either medical image processing, biomechanical modelling
(orthopaedic implants, stents, etc.) or microstructural modelling
(composites, foams, etc.). You will be responsible for contracted
projects throughout the project life cycle which will require you to
work very closely with the R&D departments of a range of blue chip
corporate companies.
 
Principle Roles:
- Provide high quality and reliable support for our clients
- Collate deliverables
- Generate proposals, white papers, reports and quotations
- Organise software demonstrations and workshops
 
Key Requirements:
- Qualified preferably to PhD level in a Computational Engineering
related subject
- Results driven with the ability to work simultaneously on multiple
projects
- Strong project management ability
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative whilst being a team
player
