While not sand casting, Z Corp's Z cast process looks very interesting.
It is obviously similar to the ProMetal RCT process but is a plaster
mold.

Dear List,

Is anything happening regarding the direct manufacture of sand casting
molds? Commercial solutions available today (that I know of) come from
EOS, ProMetal RCT and ACTech - all in Germany. Are there others and are
there interesting developments in the pipeline?
