Hi Paul,

I take it from your message that you have contacted Sony here in the US some
time ago and have never received a reply from them. Is this correct? If
yes, how long has it been since your request?

Pretty much everything about their machine, competance of the people that
were here, and their plans in the US all sound quite good to me. I did
request an example part to be made from an STL file I created and they said
they would build it in Japan and send it us, however it has been about 3
weeks now and I still do not have a part from them. I expected to have a
part from them in hand by now, and it makes me a bit concerned that we still
do not have it. We have received a part from 3D Systems a week ago, however
I was not overly impressed by it and they are now building another one to
send me.

Once I know more about parts from both companies I will send another message
to the group.

Nick
