Hi, I am presently doing test sintering of biodegradable polymers such as Polycaprolactone on the SLS Sinterstation 2500.
I am actually simulating the process of the full build by using a tray as the part bed on the SLS.
We manually add powder to the edge of the tray to add every layer to build a disc specimen.
We encounter problems of the layers not sticking well to the previous layer.
We also notice that when the roller move across the tray, the powders are dragged to one side and the disc built is offsetted.
Is the problem got to do with the roller or the part bed temperature?
We are working at 35oC for the part bed temperature.
Is there any way of deactivating the heater?
Please advise.
Thank you
