The most obvious difference is no surface type features. If you look at
their "Alibre challenge" that is one of the catches.

I would appreciate comments from anyone who has made use of Alibre Design
and either SolidWorks\ProE\Inventor\SolidEdge.

We have played with the Alibre software and it measures up surprisingly
well.

Alibre is far less expensive then these mainstream packages.

Is there a catch?
