MessageBob,
Some folks from Arcam visited last week and showed us the well-known rook
piece (with spiral rope and staircase on the inside) that they had built in
titanium. It was approximately 100mm tall, and they said it took a little
under 4 hours to build. The level of detail was quite impressive. We won't
start working with titanium on our machine for a few months, but you can
contact Arcam directly (www.arcam.com) to see what kind of material
properties they are getting and to see if they are able to take a look at
your application.
Regards,
Denis

Subject: Titanium
Hi, I have a customer interested in making titanium prototypes. Are these
two folks the only options? Any experiences you can share? Thanks!
