The Agenda for the SLS conference is feverishly being worked on, and we
have several speakers ready to present. Some of the topics are:
Research on a high temperature SLS machine at the University of
Louisville
Research into material properties directly from the machine and post
processing SLS parts to improve the properties from Loughborough
University
Working with the SOMOS material from Reebok
Update on the Seimen's success with the LASR process, further
experience with process control, powder management, & global
rollout.
I am challenging all of you this year to help us in Orlando to surpass last
year's excellent conference at San Francisco by:
Signing up to attend and increasing attendance in 2003
Participating as speakers and breakout session hosts
Bringing your impressive and unusual pieces to the parts fair
As suppliers to the RP industry - show us your "right stuff" at the
vendors and parts fair
We are still seeking other interesting and unique presentations covering
the SLS materials including Castform, LaserForm- ST-100 and ST-200;
secondary uses of SLS parts; or successful case studies for the
presentation and the breakout sessions.
