Advice on SLC

Dear RP-ML experts According to SLC file format,
 

1. An exterior boundary has its polyline list in counter-clockwise order. The solid material is inside the polyline.

2. An interior boundary has its polyline list in clockwise order and solid material is outside the polyline

But at times there are repeat contours in same direction. Is this an error in the slicing process?
