HA!!!

Had the exact same problem with last nights build.
I literally JUST finished fixing the machine.

Thanks to another RPML'r I found out that the drive motor for the roller
assembly is connected to the gearbox above it with a key.

This key can actually fall down and eventually out leaving the gearbox and
motor not connected.
(well they are still connected .. .but the motor will turn and nothing will
happen)

I bet your key has fallen down and is now wedged between the face of the
motor and the input of the gearbox.
It will make noise and may make the roller move some.

It isn't too terribly difficult to fix.

I found a small piece of hose and slid it down the shaft to hold the key UP
into place.

Yeah. . I know .. hard to visualize . . but you'll understand immediately
when you take the motor out and take the gear box off it.

Subject: SLS roller problem

My 2500 SinterStation plus roller is stuttering as in moves from right to
left. It moves has a very hard time rolling and moves really slow, sometimes
the build will abort because it exceeds the time it should take to roll
across.
Help? Thank YoU
