Greetings:

There have been a couple of major additions to the archived material on The
Worldwide Guide to Rapid Prototyping web-site.

*** Abstracts of the SOLID FREEFORM FABRICATION PROCEEDINGS
for 2002 are now available.

A total of nearly 800 papers, for years 1990 through 2002, trace the
development of most rapid prototyping technologies from inception through
commercialization. Detailed analysis of systems, materials and software are
covered, as well as surveys of RP activities in specific geographic areas,
industries and education. The Proceedings are the permanent record of the
Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium held annually at the University of Texas
at Austin. Thanks to Dr. David Bourell and Rosalie Foster for making the
material available.

With the addition of this material, Mom, (the Mother of All Rapid Prototyping
Bibliographies,) now includes more than 4,700 academic, business and trade
publication citations covering every facet of the technology and industry.

*** The RP US PATENT DATABASE has just been updated.

It now includes more than 1,400 US patents and published applications, and is
expanding at a rate of more than 550 patents and applications per year. It
covers all facets of RP including: RP processes, materials, and software; RP
applications as diverse as art and medicine; tooling and direct manufacturing
- and much more.

Use the direct links on our front page to go right to the search functions
for either Mom or the Patent Database.
