SME's EASTEC 2003 Advanced Productivity Exposition (APEX) being held May 20-22 at the Eastern States Exposition
Grounds, West Springifield, Mass., will help Northeast manufacturers learn about
lean manufacturing and how the principles of lean can affect their decisions
on metalworking equipment, manufacturing processes and their general
technical knowledge.

A new Lean Manufacturing Pavilion and Conference will provide a forum for
attendees to meet one-on-one with lean consultants and equipment providers.
Paid conference attendees will receive a free operational assessment after the
show in their shop or plant.
