The Rapid Manufacturing Consortium at Loughborough University will now
be managed by Graham Tromans from the beginning of January 2003. Graham
Tromans has been the leading industrialist in layer manufacturing
technologies in Europe for more than a decade and has a wealth of
experience in implementing this technology. He has been the Chairman of
the UK Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing Association for several years
and has also been Chairman of the European Stereolithography User Group.
Graham has also been a member of UK Department of Trade & Industry
Missions to study Rapid Prototyping in Japan and USA. Graham first
worked on Rapid Prototyping when establishing the facility at Rover
Group and has recently established a similar facility at Landrover.
Graham will be the link person between the Rapid Manufacturing Research
Group and industry and his wealth of experience will be a benefit to all
involved.
We look forward to working even more closely with industry in the coming
years.

I wish you all a Happy Christmas.
