Ross,

Either AutoCAD Mechanical desktop (probably Inventor as well) or SolidWorks
can perform this conversion. I would imagine that other solid modeling
programs (Pro-E, Solid Edge, CATIA, etc.) are also capable of doing it. I
mention AutoCAD and SolidWorks because I am familiar with them and know they
can do it.

A client of mine has some 3d dxf data (all triangles), that I need to cnc
machine.
I need to translate this data to my preferred format for machining which is
.igs
Cost as always, is an issue. I need to get this once only translation done
for very little or preferably nothing.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
