Congratulations are in order for Adam Cohen, formerly of 3D Systems and
Soligen, founder of Rapid Prototyping Report, and now CEO of MEMgen,
which is advancing digital fabrication at the micro scale.
 
 
 
MEMGen Raises $5.7M

----
Burbank-based MEMGen (www.memgen.com) announced that it has raised $5.7M
in a second round financing from Partech International. Previous
investors Dynafund Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Chevron, Zone
Ventures, Atherton Venture Partners, LLC, Venture Law Group, Riordan &
McKinzie, and McDonnell 1998 Co-investing all participated. MEMgen is
developing fabrication technology for miniaturized devices, including
Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS). The company's previous round
was $11M in February of last year.
