Thanks for all the responses. However, I think that I should probably elaborate on my question.

I am aware that the SFP feature in Light Year 1.0 (when turned on) would draw fine features or thin walls even if that feature was smaller than the cured line width (2 x beam comp.). As a result those fine features or thin walls would not be accurate. To my knowledge this function worked very well in LY 1.0

However, the SFP function in LY 1.1 has been altered slightly (confirmed by 3D Systems employees). As a result if SFP is turned on in LY 1.1, some small features do not slice properly (not at all, partially, or inconsistently). In addition if SFP is turned on it also effects some geometries that are larger than the cured line width, the surfaces that attach to these features, and possibly even geometries that don't have any thin walls or fine features on them, at all.

Is there anyone out there that make small detailed parts and/or that uses SFP function on a regular bases (possibly turned on as a default parameter setting) who has seen any of these problems?

I would like to hear from you!

I know that there are many users out there that make smaller, more detailed geometry, then us. I would assume that there are others that are aware of this problem? Am I wrong... or is there a simple work around?

or an accuracy problem when using LY 1.1 with SFP (small
feature preservation) turned on?

We have, and are just wondering if anyone else has... or has
found a work around?
