You are talking about a technology limitation. There are no "magical" solution to this problem. CT/MRI technology advances may resolve it one day.

      While selecting the threshold for the soft tissue in MIMICS s/w it is very difficult to distinguish between tendon/ligament/bone. In fact some time it is very daughtful that which is the interested tissue.Some time the outer skin boundry of the body have the same threshold as that of inner soft tissue value.
      I am requesting that, does any body give some ideas regarding how accurately & efficiently the above work is possible, does this procedure has some relation with contrast also?
