Hi Steve:

This is really good advice and much more widely applicable than the jewelry
industry. We now have an enormous range of technologies and inventions which
can be brought to bear to solve specific, large economic problems.

If we can identify large markets that can profit from additive fabrication
and define their needs, as you have, it will provide the needed guidance for
technology development. The real frontier is marketing. It's happening in
areas of medicine and dentistry, but as you point out there may be some large
markets right under our noses we're simply not seeing.

Quite a stimulating posting!

Worldwide Guide to Rapid Prototyping

Stop thinking Rapid Prototyping and start thinking Rapid Manufacturing. The
technology is there, it is just the motivation and insight that is lacking.
