Due to bankruptcy, a state-of-the-art foundry located in Antwerp,
Belgium is for sale. This is the only facility in the world to use the
unique PRECICAST process for production of highly complex castings. The
PRECICAST technology is a variation of a sand casting process that is
able to achieve die-cast complexity & precision. The market for this
process addresses the production volumes from 100 to 5000 castings per
year for either prototyping, pre-production, or production
applications. Main customers include electronics, automotive,
semi-conductor, telecommunications, and defense industries located in
North America & Europe.
The technology and specific equipment can not be moved, so the facility
must be operated from its current location.
The building is only 3 years old, about 60,000 square feet, and is
located on 100,000 square foot lot in a prime high-tech industrial area.
The foundry has its own engineering, tooling, and machining facilities,
as well as a complete pattern shop.
The price is approximately US$ 2,000,000
The value of the land & building is US$ 1,500,000
