I'd replace Scan Spacing with Beam Width.

Behaviour for Scan Spacing < Beam Width is a more complex thing.
On a SLA, the laser energy results in a photochemical reaction
and you can roughly just add all energies the resin is exposed
to. This leads to your formula.

On SLS, however, the energy is used to melt powder and the
energy is probably mostly lost until the laser beam comes along
the next time.

For Scan Spacing >= Beam Width, Scan Spacing is meaningless for
calculation of energy exposure.
