A review of Rapid Prototyping 2001 from the Ivory Tower

As a new year begins it is always interesting to look at the future of
technology and try to decide how to apply this technology for the greatest
gain. Instead of tracking individual universities I took 144 major journal
publications for 2001 through January 2002 and used these publications to
check the future direction of rapid prototyping. I used only primary
authors, university of work, country location, and subject area to sort my
data. Some interesting results came into view.
