APMM Announces Terry Wohlers’ Participation at 2001 Conference

AUGUST 10, 2001 –The Association of Professional Model Makers (APMM)
announced today that industry consultant, analyst, and author Terry Wohlers,
president of Wohlers Associates, Inc. (Fort Collins, Colorado), will present
“Trends in Rapid Prototyping” at the upcoming APMM 2001 Conference in
Pasadena, California, September 14-17, 2001. Mr. Wohlers is the author of
250 books, articles, and reports and provides advice to organizations
worldwide. Last year, he was a featured speaker in France, Germany, Israel,
Japan, South Africa, Sweden, USA, and Wales.

“We are honored to have Mr. Wohlers as a presenter at APMM 2001,” said
Lauren Groth, APMM 2001 Conference Chairman. “His experience in the rapid
prototyping industry provides the background necessary to analyze and
provide valuable information on the current trends in RP. If you are
involved in the RP industry in any capacity, it is essential that you attend
this year’s conference and Wohlers’ presentation,” stated Groth.

“I am very happy to be a part of the APMM conference and hope that my
involvement contributes a fraction of what I expect to take away from the
event,” Wohlers said. “APMM does a good job catering to the needs of model
makers, so I’m looking forward to attending the company tours, workshops,
and related events,” he continued. “The tours, alone, are worth their weight
in gold,” Wohlers remarked. “APMM knows how to put them together like no one
else.”

The Art Center College of Design and the DoubleTree hotel in Pasadena,
California are the sites for “Model Making Essentials for 2001 & Beyond”.
