I finally have some more information regarding our LOM
machine. The
machine was purchased (5) years ago...and was installed
in our facility
on 9/1/95. The number/model is a LOM-2030E and it is
serial number
077...i.e. the 77th machine that Helisys sold I
think...at least for
that series.

The machine is in excellent mechanical and electrical
condition.
Everything works well. The optics have always been
regularly cleaned
and maintained, the fuser was kept clean and the rails
were always
cleaned adn greased.

Over the course of the past five years, we have
upgraded certain areas
of the machines including:

1. Fuser rail upgrade
2. Infrared sensor upgrade
3. Chamber heating upgrade module
4. Z-switch upgrade
5. Automatic fire extinguishing system
6. Laser kill upgrade
