        You bring a good legal point although how you establish the first use I am
not sure. Recreating (Reverse Engineering) by itself is not a crime or
copyright violation -- as long as you don't profit from it. Same with
patents -- so I have been told. It would be nice if robust watermarking was
available to ensure authorship in the first place.....
