    There have been a few technologies in Japan and the US that use freezing of water or other liquids as part (or all) of the fabbing process. However, the RFP name does not immediately bring a specific technique to mind. If you could scan the Popular Mechanics article and post it on a Web or FTP site or, if the resulting file was not too big (say, not over 100k), send it to this list, then I and others may be able to comment on it.

  I put a post up a couple of weeks ago about Rapid Freeze Prototyping (RFP).

  I saw a short paragraph about it on page 18 of this month's Popular Mechanics about this new faster process being researched.

  I thought this would be the best place to find out about this new technology, but got no response. No one has heard of RFP?
