Dear list,
Suppose I want to check the correct functioning of a flexible producing
line. The line manufactures big cast iron parts (450x300x400 mm). The
line can be composed of drilling, milling, turning and finishing machine
tools and it can take a lot of robots and feeding systems. Suppose I do
not want to wait for the first blank parts to come and I do have the
line ready.
How can I make prototypes that should pass through all the manufacturing
process. It has to be a very very fast method (so machining out of a
block is not the method). In 1 week I should have 5 to 10 prototypes,
starting from the 3D solid model.
Any idea?
