Greetings:
Numerous useful additions and revisions have been made to the Worldwide Guide
to Rapid Prototyping Resources web site. Here are a few of the more
significant changes:
*** A new INDUSTRY OVERVIEW section has been added that discusses
applications, products and services and compares the major competitors and
technologies.
*** New listings bring the directory of RP SERVICE BUREAU locations to just
under 500.
*** The SEARCH FACILITY has been improved and made easier to use for
searching the shell of the site. Special purpose search engines for deep
searches of patents and bibliographic materials are also still available. The
information on the site is the equivalent of about 800 printed pages, not
including most of the archived materials.
*** RP SOFTWARE LISTINGS have been greatly expanded and include listings by
provider organization and function.
*** An extensive listing of 3D FILE ARCHIVES and providers is now available.
*** The FINE ARTS, JEWELRY AND ARCHITECTURAL DIRECTORY has been greatly
expanded and now has over 40 links to organizations, individual artists'
pages, service providers and background materials.
