offset a surface of a model in stl file

Dear Mr. Ferrotto,DeskArtes has a software called 3Data Expert which
offsets any STL model - even an open surface to create it a thickness.

The software can be downloaded at www.deskartes.com, and you can request
for a 30 day trial.

For Unix workstations DeskArtes supplies a similar software called Rapid
Tools, and trials can be requested at DA@deskartes.com.
