Chris,

On our FDM 2000 we calibrate our Z-measurement on the tip offset calibration
at .009 to .0095, not the .010 recommended in the manual. Use a fine
measuring device, and be careful not to compress the plastic that you are
measuring. I find that it helps to start with a very high Z (add .005 or
more) and work down to the offset I want in small increments (.001).

We own an FDM 1650 which is controlled by Quickslice 4.0 but although
the XYZ offset calibration reads OK we cannot remove the base from any
part . We have just changed the tips (T12) ,but nothing seems to work .I
would welcome any feedback
