Product Development Manager, B2B Manufacturing Services

A venture-funded startup division of an established software company is
seeking a product development manager for its new Web-based business to
business brokerage service for matching buyers and sellers of contract
manufacturing services. The product development manager will have a
comprehensive understanding of the requisition and purchasing process for
contract manufacturing services, such as rapid prototyping, rapid tooling
and rapid manufacturing, within OEM, Tier I and Tier II manufacturing
companies. The product development manager's success will be determined by
the individual's ability to design and manage the development process of a
robust online RFQ service for contract manufacturing services. Candidates
do not necessarily have to have product development experience, but they
must be thoroughly familiar with the process and issues associated with the
purchasing of contract manufacturing services.

The B2B Product Development Manager will:
- Design the features, business rules and processes of the online RFQ
service
- Manage the product development team and oversee the completion and
ongoing refinement of the service
- Work closely with the corporate marketing division to develop and execute
a comprehensive B2B marketing campaign
- Work closely with the B2B Director of Sales to promote the site to
manufacturing end users and service providers

Requirements:
- A thorough understanding of the contract manufacturing services budgeting
and purchasing processes
- A rigorous comprehension of the economic, strategic, business, financial,
and legal issues which affect the buying and selling of contract
manufacturing services
- Minimum 6 years experience buying or selling contract manufacturing
services within the OEM, Tier I and Tier II manufacturing environment or
comparable experience
- Solid quantitative, communication and analytical capabilities
- Previous experience managing a development team is a plus, but is not
required

Compensation:
- Excellent compensation and benefits. Opportunity for immediate equity

Location:
- Boulder, CO with frequent travel to customer sites.

B2B Director of Sales

seeking an evangelist for its new business to business brokerage service
for matching buyers and sellers of contract manufacturing services. The
evangelist will have substantial experience selling contract manufacturing
services, such as rapid prototyping, rapid tooling and rapid manufacturing,
to OEM, Tier I and Tier II manufacturing companies. The evangelist's
success will be determined by the individual's ability to populate the
service and acquire users and providers of contract manufacturing services.

The B2B Director of Sales will:
- Promote the brokerage service to both manufacturing and service bureau
customers
- Populate the service with purchasers and vendors of contract
manufacturing services
- Work closely with the corporate marketing division to develop and execute
a comprehensive b2b marketing campaign
- Work closely with the product development team to build and refine the
features and business rules of the brokerage service

Requirements:
- A comprehensive understanding of the contract manufacturing services
budgeting and purchasing processes
- Established contacts within the purchasing departments of large OEM, Tier
I, and Tier II manufacturing companies
- The proven ability to prospect and close sales of contract manufacturing
services
- Minimum 6 years experience selling contract manufacturing services
- Solid quantitative, communication and analytical capabilities

Compensation:
- Excellent compensation and benefits. Commission for signing up
manufacturing and service bureau customers. Opportunity for immediate
equity upside.

Location:
- Flexible. Frequent travel to San Francisco, CA and Boulder, CO.
