Dear Pedro:
We do have a polyurethane product that simulates polypropylene. It is
called PC99VS/G31VS. This product is used to simulate PP, PE, and other
materials requiring hardness and elasticity. This product is also good for
making "living hinges". Below are some of the properties of this system:
Density g/ml 1.15 - 1.20
Shore Hardness @ 77° FF D 63 - 66
Max. recommended operating temperature °F 212
Flexural strength psi 2,800 - 3,200
Flexural elastic modulus psi 55,000 - 58,000
Tensile strength psi 2,800 - 3,200
Elongation % 210 - 230
This product is available for vacuum casting as well as for injection with
pneumatic dispensing systems.
Best regards,
Michael Tsenter
