i am using Alias for more than 6 years and let me say coming out with a good
STL is easy
if you have the right tools.
In any case the STL file coming out from ALIAS is not good, and repairing it
could cost a lot of time.
The IGES file and Brock Roony converter can delivery a correct file in less
than 10 minutes.
It can happens from time to time you should have to verify two or three
trimming curves but in general if the OPERATOR USING ALIAS IS MAKING A GOOD
JOB the way i told is almost perfect.
You can use DESKARTES tools too. The final result is almost the same and in
this case you can control and chose different solutions.
