Have a look at the Sherline machines at http://www.sherline.com

These are very high quality machines and their cost reflects this, however I
don't know how they compare to others for value for money.

Subject: Best benchtop CNC for the money

Who makes the best quality benchtop CNC milling machine for the money? The
following are three requirements:

1) 3-axis milling
2) Minimum travel of 300 x 150 x 50 mm
3) Capable of milling Renshape

It does not have to be super fast, but it should be a rigid and reliable
machine. We are currently considering machines from Isel and Light
Machines and the DeskProto software from Delft Spline Systems.

Thanks!

Terry
