Airbus is making fast cheap transportation. If you really want to fly you do it personally from para-sailing to flying warbirds jets; real stick and rudder stuff. Check out the EAA it's full of prototypers and leaders of the future.
Lots of innovation on a low budget.

Actually airline flying tries to remove the silk scarf stuff as most passengers only want to get to their destination. It really is teleportation, you go down a tube into another tube and sit down, the video display of what we shall call, "the outside", is just for those who like to look out. (Clouds are just tape changes.) anything real is just an illusion.

Now the real flying is where the air is thin and lumpy, the ground is hard and you are brittle.
If you've ever stood at the edge of a cliff and wanted to spread your arms and fly into the wind? Well hang gliding allows you to do this more than once!

Bang the rocks together ... have a great week-end.

Carsten,

I thought about technology and users.....or dreamers.... and flight came to
mind since flying became a goal right after the first bird appeared. Man
did all type of prototypes in order to achieve this dream. However, if we
look at the development of the airplane which now gives up the ability to
fly.. we see mass flight not individualized flight. Where did the plan for
flight change direction? Why did it not ever evolve into my flying machine
rather than jumbo jets. Now they say AirBus plans a 1000 seater....

Where is my one seater? MY ThunderJet? In red of course.

Elaine
