    This is very true. The role of 3-D CAD in relation to fabbers is the same as the role of paved roads and gas stations in relation to automobiles in the early decades of this almost-over century. In other words, 3-D CAD is the infrastructure of the fabber industry. But actually, the impetus to growth is not unidirectional. While its true that as more roads were paved and more gas stations were built, the demand for cars increased, the converse is also true. The more people that bought cars, the greater was the demand for paved roads and gas stations. Similarly, increased growth and acceptance of 3-D CAD and of fabbers each provide an impetus for the other.
