RE: Small frustrating thing with Lightyear

I have the Standard License. I am using the SLA5000. I am having no
problems with part number 20 or 21. My problem is the parts continue to
rotate out of desired orientation when I select the auto placement. Some
parts will index 90 degrees, parallel to the zephyr blade. I want them to
remain perpendicular to the blade. Other parts will index 45 degrees,
apparently to reduce the y distance for the smart sweep. This sometimes
will give a goofy support grid under the part. I would like to be able to
adjust the setting in the auto placement feature.

I tried the auto placement once. I don't think that it optimizes the
smart sweep
from what I saw. I could be wrong, what are some of your experiences?

Has any one else had problems with more than 20 parts on a platform?
What
does the software do with the 21st part? Delete it or just not build it?

Thanks for sharing,
Jim
