Thank you, but I want to minimize the y dimension without changing part
orientation. Others can do it, but they are using ADVANCED. What good is
the software if I can't even talk apples to apples with others users???

I believe the purpose of "auto placement" is to orient the parts for a
minimum Y dimension, thus maximizing the Smart Sweep enhancement.
