Retrofit platform lock.

We have received a retrofit platform lock from 3DSystems for our SLA-5000.
We have not had the new lock installed yet. This new lock apparently would
prevent any movement of the platform in the event of a blade stall/crash,
but it seems to be more cumbersome to use because it will require the use of
an allen wrench (two were furnished, with screw driver type handle) to
remove and install the platform. Being a veteran of the SLA-350's
"oops,-I-turned-it-the-wrong-way-again-and-the-knob-fell-off-this-time-and-h
ad-to-fish-it-out-of-the-bottom-of-the-vat", I have been reluctant to
replace the spring loaded clamp because there seems to be no safeguard from
screwing in the set screw too far and losing the clamp in the event that
this is errantly done when a platform is not in place (you never know,
things happen). Furthermore, the allen wrenches could feasibly get "lost"
(in the vat?), and who would own up to that?

The greatest advantage I see in the new device is that it could prevent the
loss of a build ($$$$$).

Anyone care to share their experiences, pros and cons?

Thanks,
